Join Lucy on this day workshop, ran from Just Sew, Penrith and sew yourself an everyday  essential top. 

This relaxed-fit, versatile top is designed to be a hardworking favourite in your wardrobe – easy to pair with jeans for a casual everyday look, dress up with a skirt or tailored trousers, or layer under a cardigan or jacket. With a choice of sleeve variations, you can tailor the style to suit your taste and choose fabrics to make it work across different seasons. Comfortable, easy to style and endlessly wearable, it's the kind of top you'll reach for again and again – and probably want to make in more than one fabric!

Size range for this workshop is 6 - 18 (bust 81cm - 111cm, waist 69cm - 99cm and hips 91cm - 121cm)

You do need to have some sewing machine experience for this course though not necessarily dressmaking.

What's provided

• Sewing Craft Room environment at Just Sew, Penrith, CA11 7HJ
• Tea, coffee and refreshments throughout the workshop 
  
• Paper pattern and instruction booklet
  

What you will need to bring with you

• Main fabric
  • Fabric suggestions: light to medium weight woven fabrics like; cotton & cotton blends, linen and linen blends, chambray, viscose. 
    
• Matching Thread
  
• Stitch and Tear Vilene
• 9 - 10mm wide elastic
• Sewing Machine and Sewing Kit (don't forget your paper scissors!)
  • If preferred, for an additional £5.00 you can hire one of our sewing machines. Please notify us before the workshop if you would like to hire a machine.

Full fabric quantities will be given on booking confirmation as the required amount varies depending on the size you wish to sew.
