Sew Your Own Pullover Tie Dress

Join Lucy on this day workshop, ran from Just Sew, Penrith and sew yourself a pullover tie dress. One dress with multiple options. 

 A lovely, relaxed and versatile dress with flattering waist ties that can be styled in different ways to create a look that's uniquely yours. With a choice of V-neck or round neckline, the dress can be worn either way round, giving you two different looks in one! During the workshop, we'll be making the short-sleeved version – a comfortable, stylish and wonderfully wearable addition to your handmade wardrobe. 

Size range for this workshop is 4 - 28 (bust 30" - 52", waist 24" - 42" and hips 33" - 54")

You do need to have some sewing machine/overlocker experience for this course, including having sewn some basic dressmaking garments.

What's provided

• Sewing Craft Room environment at Just Sew, Penrith, CA11 7HJ
• Tea, coffee and refreshments throughout the workshop 
  
• Paper pattern and instruction booklet
  

What you will need to bring with you

• Main fabric
  • Fabric suggestions: light to medium weight woven fabrics like; cotton & cotton blends, linen and linen blends, double gauze, viscose, crepe and silk. 
  • You want a fabric that is NON-DIRECTIONAL/DOESN'T HAVE A NAP.
    
• Matching Thread
  
• Sewing Machine and Sewing Kit (don't forget your paper scissors!)
  • If preferred, for an additional £5.00 you can hire one of our sewing machines. Please notify us before the workshop if you would like to hire a machine.

Full fabric quantities will be given on booking confirmation as the required amount varies depending on the size you wish to sew. 

The pattern used for this workshop is the Tie Dress by Sewing Therapy.
